Our partnership with Lifeline is enabling us to bring clean water to more people than we ever thought possible and, in that way, to honor the legacy and better fulfill the vision of our founder, Capt. Ben Sklaver.

While deployed in Northern Uganda with the U.S. Army in 2007 at the close of the long conflict with Joseph Kony and the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA), Ben saw the desperate need for water in order for villages to rebuild and thrive. We specialize in partnering with small, remote, rural villages that no one else is reaching. We've observed that newly constructed wells often break down and go out of service within two years of installation. To address this and improve sustainability of water supply, we work intensively with villages over several months to provide training, establish a local committee to care for the water point and establish finance plans for future repairs. Our goal is to empower villages to lead happier, healthier and more prosperous lives. About Ben
